We here at Daily Grindhouse have a lot of love for the fine folks operating repertory cinemas that devote themselves to showing the wealth that cinema has to offer, and in the format it was meant to be seen in.
Morgan White (@therepseries), director of the hilarious The Rep shorts for the Toronto Underground Cinema (the best rep theater in Toronto!) has expanded his interest in cinemas to bring us THE REP: A DOCUMENTARY focusing on the ins, outs and history of repertory theaters throughout the U.S. and Canada.
With appearances from Kevin Smith, John Waters, Bruce McDonald, and a host of rep owners and operators.
