Less a thoughtful, carefully constructed drama and more a bunch of loosely strung together bad-ass set pieces set to a criminally over-looked score, RETURN OF SABATA features Lee Van Cleef as Sabata, the titular nine-fingered scoundrel in search of a million dollar fortune; as so often happens with these things, the plot is simultaneously mind-bogglingly complex and simple-minded to the point of profound retardation. Still, I love this movie.
