SCORSESE CIRCLES HIS NEXT PROJECT

Hey Bastards. Sounds like Scorsese may be looking to add yet another title to the now more than 11 films he is wrapped up in. Variety is reporting that he’s is in early talks to helm the adaptation of “The Snowman,” which is about Hole, a detective who gives a finger to the rules and is investigating a string of violent murders with a snowman found at each scene of the crime. Matthew Michael Carnahan who wrote the little seen THE KINGDOM (the flick ends with triple punch: car chase, fight, gun-fight) and the upcoming WORLD WAR Z is working the script. Not a bad choice.

This is isn’t exactly a story the screams Scorses to me however. I like him a little more gritty, a little more tough and the idea of him doing a kind of detective procedural doesn’t do a lot for me. I would rather see him take the THE GAMBLER remake on as his next but who am I to tell a master what’s best? I think the guys has done okay for himself following his own advice.

SEE YOU ON FORTY DEUCE,
