Thanks for the flashback. ROCK N ROLL HIGH SCHOOL never did become a midnight hit, alas.
It’s a lot of fun, but, right around that time there was a menace to all Midnight shows on the horizon – Home Video. Sure, ROCKY HORROR continued on as a midnight show, but VHS really dampened the idea of going to a theater to see a specific movie very week when folkss could just watch it at home.
