Nobody got on their high horse like Siskel and Ebert with slasher films. Now, I have to admit, I sorta gave up on the sequels pretty early on myself (though I did catch one or two later). David Lynch DID use S&E’s “Two Thumbs Down” on his ads for LOST HIGHWAY. Something like – “Two Thumbs Down” – Two more Reasons to see LOST HIGHWAY!”
