SISKEL & EBERT FLASHBACK: FT13TH: THE FINAL CHAPTER (1984)

HEY BASTARDS.

Here in Portland, Siskel & Ebert were on Channel 2 at 11:35pm every Sunday. Agree with them or not, they brought film conversation to the masses. Here is our weekly tribute to the two legends.

Ebert’s statement about the movie should have been used on the the theatrical poster.

Nobody got on their high horse like Siskel and Ebert with slasher films. Now, I have to admit, I sorta gave up on the sequels pretty early on myself (though I did catch one or two later). David Lynch DID use S&E’s “Two Thumbs Down” on his ads for LOST HIGHWAY. Something like – “Two Thumbs Down” – Two more Reasons to see LOST HIGHWAY!”
