STUNT ROCK (1980)

This one goes to 11. Your brain will melt from the sights and sounds of Brian Trenchard-Smith’s masterpiece of stunt and rock fusion. The film follows legendary stuntman Grant Page (MAD MAX) who goes to Los Angeles to work on a television series. He uses his spare time to lend his expertise to a rock band’s stage-show (naturally).

Honestly though, who gives a fuck about story when you have the majestic band Sorcery and their theatrical rock and roll teaming up with a bad-ass doing insane stunts. If you wanted to make the case for why Australian cinema kicks 12 kinds of ass, you only need two words: STUNT ROCK.

See you on forty deuce,
