Somewhere between DIAL-A-DEGENERATE and MARSHA: THE EROTIC HOUSEWIFE, director Donald Davis pinched a rather dull cinematic turd called SWAMP GIRL. Considering the film’s genre and Davis’ penchant for naughtiness, I must admit to having been disappointed by how ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENS in this damn movie.
Basically, an orphan is raised in the swamp by a former servant who claims to be her Pa. Meanwhile, an escaped convict and her boyfriend take an ill-advised shortcut through said swamp. And there’s also a trio of redneck morons to provide the requisite shenanigans.
Move along. Nothing to see here.
