Wes Craven made one good flick after this (NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET) and then made nothing but films that range from mediocre to full on shit-fests (VAMPIRE IN BROOKLYN). SWAMP THING has it’s problems, but it’s fun as hell. You add Adrienne Barbeau and David Hess to the mix along with the big green ass-kicker and you got yourself a solid flick.
