Sinbad battles a wizard and mythical beasties in a landmark special effects film helmed by the great Ray Harryhausen.  Rousing score by Bernard Herrmann adds to the grandeur.  This was Ray’s first color film with frequent collaborator producer Charles H. Schneer, made after a string of low budget but effective monster on the loose flicks. A real treat for fans of fantasy cinema.
