You’d think the number of times I’ve seen this video sitting idly on the dusty shelf at my local Mom ‘n’ Pop shop, I would’ve rented this bad boy. I’m sure you’ve seen it too. Hit the button, the little green eyes start blinking. I’m convinced this flick came standard with every video store. You get the foundation, the walls, some shoddy paint, a weird smell, and a complimentary VHS of THE DEAD PIT.
The trailer looks promising: A little Fulci eye-gouging. Some hallway running a la NIGHT OF THE DEMONS. And I’m a big fan of the lead’s t-shirt.
I probably need to make THE DEAD PIT a priority.
