There is a scene in this film that is set in an English village, all the townspeople have been killed by a poisonous gas. It still remains as one of the most haunting scenes of all-time and still packs a punch of the creeps. This was the first film in the five film Fu Manchu series, and it remains the best of the bunch. As time went on, like Hammer’s Dracula series, the quality dropped. Christopher Lee, however, seemed to only get better. Director Don Sharp made the classic PSYCHOMANIA eight years later. Dig it, Bastards!
