THE FIFTH CORD (1971)

This may be one of the best roles Nero ever had. He’s a pulpy, hardboiled character tossed into a typical giallo story and he plays every scene tough and swings his fist at anything with a heartbeat. If you dig this then check out the other (and first) flick Nero and director Luigi Bazzoni made together: PRIDE AND VENGEANCE (1968). I like my Franco Nero with a coffin full o’badass, but I’ll take him with a bushy porn ‘stache in a giallo any day.

SEE YOU ON FORTY DEUCE,
