There are two versions of this flick; a 135 minute cut released in 1976 and an edited 108 minute cut with the order of some scenes changed. Either way you cut it though, this flick is a tough, gritty, neo-noir masterpiece from John Cassavetes that features one of the best performances in the long career of the late Ben Gazzara. Dig the slow burn, Bastards.
