Howard Hawk’s classic sci-fi chiller about an alien’s unexpected “visit” to a research station at the North Pole remains one of the scariest films to come out of science fiction’s golden era.  Hawk’s trademark overlapping dialogue and strong examples of human comradery are in full force in this claustrophobic masterpiece loosely based on John W. Campbell’s ‘Who Goes There’.  The original alien invasion movie.
