TRAGEDY GIRLS has been a huge favorite on the festival trail. With a Halloween-friendly theatrical release locked in on Oct. 20, the horror-comedy has debuted a bloody, very funny red-band trailer that makes sure to include every blurb from critics comparing it to HEATHERS and SCREAM for the social media age. Holding itself up to such lofty ambitions could backfire as too much hype, but if the film delivers on the nasty satirical edge the trailer promises, we could be in for something truly fun.
