This week on the Daily Grindhouse Podcast (and next week on the site), we’ll be looking at a few films from director Jeff Lieberman. In doing research on the director who has inspired everyone from Guillermo del Toro to Bob Murawski, I came across this clip of him directing Rod Serling (THE TWILIGHT ZONE) for THE ART OF FILM (project started in 1974) which was a series of six 20 minute films distributed mostly to colleges in 1976. This was the last project Serling worked on before his death in 1975.
It’s great to hear both Serling’s voice record this track, Lieberman’s direction, and to hear how narrations like this are built from the ground up. Dig it!
FIGHT DIRTY,
G
