HEY BASTARDS.
Quick little nugget of news on the Chan-wook Park front. Fox Searchlight has nailed down March 1, 2013 release for the director’s English language debut STOKER. This film was announced and then went dark so it’s nice to see some movement. The film was written by Wentworth Mill who stars along side Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode, Jacki Weaver, Lucas Till, Alden Ehrenreich, Phyllis Somerville and Dermot Mulroney. This is the first in a planned trilogy from the director of OLDBOY, SYMPATHY FOR MR. VENGEANCE, and LADY VENGEANCE.
Plot outline:
A teenage girl mourning the death of her father deals with an uncle who mysteriously shows up to meet the family.
SEE YOU ON FORTY DEUCE,
