CLOWNHOUSE (1989)

Directed by Victor “Bad Touch” Salva, this movie features the cinematic debut of Sam Rockwell, a pretty damn good actor when he’s not working for McG. Sadly, he sucks in this.

The flick has its problems, but CLOWNHOUSE is genuinely creepy in parts. Of course, anything with clowns (and/or Sarah Jessica Parker) is gonna be kinda creepy.

Me and Clownhouse go waaaaay back. The short version of the story is that my sister and I rented it all the time back in the day, so much so that my mom kept trying to buy the damn tape. It took 10 years, but she finally got it when the video store closed. It was only then when we learned just why the movie had always been out of print….awkward.
