Pam Grier takes on the pimps and pushers in Jack Hill’s Blaxploitation classic. She plays Coffy, a shotgun toting nurse who’s out for revenge when her sister pops one too many fun pills. Not until Sigourney Weaver came along and butted heads with aliens was a chick this damn tough. Her catfight at a cocktail party, complete with dresses tearin’ and boobs a-flyin’, is a highlight. Sid Haig naturally turns up as well, hilariously sporting a fake Russian accent.
