It is hard to decide what is David Cronenberg’s bleakest film, but a pretty good case can be made for THE BROOD. It is screening from a 35mm print at the Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York at 6:45 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

 

 

Crazed “Brucesploitation” flick THE DRAGON LIVES AGAIN is the midnight movie at the Belcourt Theatre in Nashville. Tickets and info can be found here.

 

 

American Cinematheque in Los Angeles rolls on with their Mario Bava retrospective with a 35mm double feature of BLACK SUNDAY and LISA AND THE DEVIL starting at 7:30 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

 

 

 

The theatrical cut of Alex Proyas’ sci-fi noir DARK CITY is screening from a 35mm print at the Museum of Modern Art in New York at 4:30 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

 

 

ALIEN is playing at the Art Theater in Champaign, IL at 10:00 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.

 

 

The midnight movie at Cinefamily in Los Angeles is the notorious BLOODSUCKING FREAKS. Tickets and info can be found here.

 

 

DEMOLITION MAN is the midnight movie at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago. This is a 35mm screening. Tickets and info can be found here.
