An architect’s wife and daughter are attacked and left for dead by a gang of muggers. This act spells bad news for the scum of New York City as the loving family man becomes the vigilante with the mostest in one of the more famous thrillers to jump out of the 70s. Charles Bronson found his Harry Callahan in the character of the avenging badass Paul Kersey, repeating the role in four inferior but loved sequels.
Vigilante film euphoria.
