FANTASIA FEST ANNOUNCES 12 FILMS FOR FRONTIERES; INCLUDES NEW FILMS FROM DANTE, RICHARD STANLEY

The Fantasia International Film Festival’s Frontières International Co-Production Market is stepping up for round 2. For my money, Fantasia Fest is hands down the most influential genre festival in the world (though there are others that have made a good run at the title and may take the crown one day) and the success of the fest has allowed side projects like Frontières to exist. This is essentially an attempt to connect the North America and Europe genre markets. The event will take place between Fantasia and the Fantastic Film Festival in Brussels. 12 projects will be screened at the market and the films are directed by icons like Joe Dante, newcomers like Michael Kinirons, and bobcat goldthwaits like Bobcat Goldthwait (it has become increasingly difficult to place him in a particular category so I just created one for him to own).  Dig the goods!
