Chiller Films has released the first image from its upcoming film CAMERA OBSCURA.

Written by Aaron B. Koontz and Cameron Burns and directed by Koontz (making his feature directorial debut), the film follows a war photographer suffering from PTSD who begins seeing deaths that have not yet happened in his photographs. Unsure if he is going insane or there is a supernatural explanation for the phenomenon he has to find out the truth before his family and friends are put in danger.

The film boasts a solid cast that includes Christopher Denham, Nadja Bobyleva, and genre favorites Chase Williamson and Noah Segan. It is produced by Koontz (who was previously the executive producer of cult fave STARRY EYES) and veteran genre producers Andrew van den Houten and Amir Zbeda.

Chiller has been releasing some quite good films like FENDER BENDER and SIREN over the last year. We will know if CAMERA OBSCURA continues their winning streak when it opens for a limited theatrical run on June 9, 2017 followed by a VOD release on June 13, 2017.
