Before Meiko Kaji picked up the blade for LADY SNOWBLOOD she banged out two films as Nami, a tough chick who knows her way around a fight. This was followed by a sequel that’s even better than the original thanks to co-star Sonny Chiba. This is a yakuza flick that isn’t quick to jump into the violence. In fact, there really isn’t any until the last ten minutes. However, that ten minutes is a giant orgy of blood and badass. Dig it, Bastards.
