A small boy with a big imagination daydreams his way through life by taking imaginary trips to Monster Island, where he buddies up with Minya, the son of Godzilla. The two learn valuable life lessons about bravery as they watch Godzilla beat the shit out of other monsters, courtesy of stock footage from GODZILLA VS. THE SEA MONSTER and SON OF GODZILLA.  

 

Kaiju fans looking for the city smashing staples that made the franchise famous best stay away from this odd little film that is aimed solely at the kiddie market. This was director Ishiro Honda’s last Godzilla film for a number of years. Released in Japan as GODZILLA, MINILLA, GABARA: ALL MONSTERS ATTACK.
