LEND A HAND TO “STILL,” AN INDIE PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER WITH NOTEWORTHY INSPIRATION

We’ve pointed out the works of Chicago filmmaker Jason Coffman before, most notably for his faux-giallo trailer “A Key of Ice in a Field of Lilacs,” but his latest project, STILL, is much more ambitious.  A feature-length film described as LA JETEE meets LET’S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH, STILL tells the tale of a young woman who becomes afflicted with a rare condition called “motion blindness” after surviving a robbery, causing her to no longer be able to see normally.  (If you’ve seen LA JETEE, you’ll get the idea.)

But Mr. Coffman needs your help.  STILL is looking for additional funding to rent locations and studio space for some key scenes, and they’ve got an impressive array of incentives for those charitable enough to chip in – a download of the film stars at a mere five bucks!

Check out the trailer below and their Kickstarter campaign here, and be a part of one of the most compelling works of independent genre film to come down the pipe this year.
