Okay, so that’s not exactly true — it wasn’t so much “unearthed” as it was “created from scratch based on a film that doesn’t actually exist,” but Chicago-based writer/director Jason Coffman’s tribute to the wild world of giallo trailers is a pretty great piece of work.

This isn’t Mr. Coffman’s first foray into the short film world, as his short THE SECRET CINEMA played a number of festivals earlier this year, and his (excellent) short film TAPE is currently playing as part of the first film block at the Unofficial Google Plus Film Festival here.
