Austin Abrams (GANGSTER SQUAD) and Sasha Pieterse (the upcoming INHERENT VICE) are two young actors who are starring in an upcoming adaptation of a prize-winning novel called VERNON GOD LITTLE, about a violent crime at a high school.

Russell Brand is also in talks for a role, but at this point that’s the least strange thing about this project.

The film is a co-production between the United States and Mexico, and actors Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna are among the names producing. Between their involvement in this and in CASA DE MI PADRE alone, I’m pretty sure I’d be great friends with those guys in real life.
