Guillermo del Toro tips his hat to the genre that will likely give him his biggest numbers to date in this intro to the Japanese trailer for PACIFIC RIM. We aren’t ones that watch the numbers, but in this case I want nothing less than a huge opening and equally strong second and third week numbers. With each dollar that the box office takes in, we get closer and closer to del Toro being able to make AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS. Anyway, there’s some new footage in here so keep’em peeled.
Go big or go home on July 12th.
