Eli Roth seems to invoke a lot of hate and I am not sure why. I kinda dig the films he’s directed and I think he’s turned into a pretty well rounded producer. I was in the minority that dug THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS (a minority that I am pretty sure consists of me and me alone). His new project likely won’t win over new fans. HEMLOCK GROVE is set to premiere on Netflix on April 19th in a 13 episode dump like HOUSE OF CARDS, Roth produced and based on this red-band trailer I am getting a wolfy, TRUE BLOODy, TWILIGHTy, kind of vibe. The series is based on a book of the same name by Brian McGreevy which tells the story of a former steel town in Pennsylvania and the murder of a 17 year old girl. Expect blood and nothing good happening to anyone. Have a look.
