GRINDHOUSE RELEASING NEWSFLASH

Grindhouse Releasing will present a massive slate of 35mm horror classics this Friday, Saturday and Sunday October 25, 26 and 27th, 2013, at the Housecore Horror Film Festival (HHFF) in Austin, TX.

HHFF will feature 35mm screenings of CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST (with director Ruggero Deodato in attendance), Lucio Fulci’s THE BEYOND, Sam Raimi’s EVIL DEAD, Umberto Lenzi’s CANNIBAL FEROX (a.k.a. MAKE THEM DIE SLOWLY), Juan Piquer Simon’s ultra-gory chainsaw classic PIECES, William Lustig’s MANIAC, and S.F. Brownrigg’s backwoods hillbilly slasher-horror film SCUM OF THE EARTH (a.k.a. POOR WHITE TRASH PART II), which Grindhouse Releasing is issuing on Blu-ray in 2014.

The fest also includes Grindhouse Releasing’s restorations of Lucio Fulci’s A CAT IN THE BRAIN and David E. Durston’s hippie horror epic I DRINK YOUR BLOOD,
