Scream Factory’s Facebook page is once again smacking your eyeballs with cool with some new artwork for an upcoming release and news of another that has been missing from any kind of home distribution for far too long. Scream Factory has announced that the 1988 shit-shack THE NEST will be hitting Blu-ray along with Renny Harlin’s criminally underrated PRISON in the next few months. Here are some initial details but stay tuned for more.

The skinny on PRISON:
After Charles Forsythe (was sent to the electric chair for a crime he didn’t commit, he forever haunts the prison where he was executed. Flash forward several years when the prison is reopened, under the control of its new warden Eaton Sharpe, a former security guard who framed Charlie. When prisoners are ordered to break down the wall to the execution room, they unknowingly release the angry spirit of Charles Forsyth, a powerful being distributing his murderous rage to all, leading up to the Warden himself.

This 1982 film stars Peter Billingsley (before he wore a pink bunny suit as ‘Ralphie’ in A Christmas Story) and has never been on DVD or Blu-ray before.
