The first trailer for Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR arrives, and, natch, it looks great:
But of course it looks great. The visual style that Rodriguez and Miller are using is basically custom made for the short-form — we’ll hold off reservation as to how well it gets the content of Miller’s graphic novels across until we can actually see the damn thing when it opens on August 22. All I know is that this one won’t have Rosario Dawson and Clive Owen firing guns at people while cackling hysterically, which is basically like sex in film form, so points off.
In the meantime, PRETTY!
