TARANTINO TALKS ABOUT DJANGO UNCHAINED AS BEING PART 2 IN AN UNOFFICIAL TRILOGY

HEY BASTARDS.

Small but cool piece of news from the 200th issue of Total Film where Quentin Tarantino is named Director Of Our Lifetime. In the interview he talked, for the first time, about DJANGO UNCHAINED possibly being Part 2 in an unofficial trilogy, which began with INGLORIOUS BASTERDS.

“I don’t know” he explained, “Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained bespeak a trilogy. As different as they are, there is a companion piece quality. There might very well be a third one. I just don’t know what it is yet.”

I am not sure what this means for KILL BILL VOL.3, but this news is Kool and the Gang and I am down for whatever the dude wants to do. Dig?

DJANGO UNCHAINED unloads this Christmas.

The skinny:
Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award(R)-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award(R)-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles–dead or alive.

SEE YOU ON FORTY DEUCE,

G
