HEY BASTARDS.

This trailer sucks. I get serious shit vibes from this. It just looks too pretty, too polished, and too fake. The original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE remains a classic because it looks real. It’s an authentic experience that delivers pure fear. TCM2 goes in a different direction, kind of walks the line between creepy and camp but it’s crazy as hell and gets a frequent rewatch around this time of year. The trailer for TEXAS CHAINSAW has no feeling, no pulse, nothing that seems remotely scary. I fucking love the characters of the original film; Leatherface and Chop-Top have haunted many a dream. This thing though… man… odds are it ain’t haunting much. Hope I am wrong though.
