Backed by some cash from Producer Sam Raimi (credited as The Master Cylinder) and featuring the rest of the Stooges Scott Spiegel and Bruce Campbell, J.R. Bookwalter’s THE DEAD NEXT DOOR is a Super-8 masterpiece with effects that go well beyond the flicks budget. The plot is pretty weak and Spiegel should stick to writing, but this film is balls to the wall zombie mayhem. Dig it, Bastards.
