UNBOXING LOOT FRIGHT’S POSSESSIONS COLLECTION

In the great scheme of the horror genre, I’ve always found that the movies that scared me the most are ones dealing with possession. Something about it just seems to be more realistic. As serious as most possession-style horror films are, some can be quite comical as well. I guess it all depends on the filmmaker behind the helm.

The possession sub-genre has such a wide array of top-notch genre films and entertainment, I’d think it would be a little difficult to come up with specific titles for a subscription box. Thankfully, that task does not belong to me.  LOOTCRATE’s horror mystery box, LOOTFRIGHT, has taken on the challenge and did it quite successfully.

The themes for LOOTFRIGHT’s POSSESSIONS box were THE EXORCIST (1973), TWIN PEAKS (1990-1991), BEETLEJUICE (1988), and ELDER SIGN: OMENS.

If I’m being honest, I’ve never watched TWIN PEAKS before, but I am currently binging the original series and I’m loving it. THE EXORCIST being one of the scariest movies ever made about possession, and BEETLEJUICE being one of the funniest films to involve scenes of possession create a nice dichotomy in items. I have no idea what an ELDER SIGNS: OMENS is, but I think it some sort of game. I’m not a gamer, so that item is lost on me.

My favorite thing about LOOTFRIGHT is that it is consistently coming up with fresh new ideas, and all the items are always high quality. Most of these collectibles can’t be found anywhere else. Sometimes LOOTFRIGHT’s shipping can get backed and it will take a while to get their box, but in my opinion, It’s always worth the wait.

Please enjoy my unboxing video. I had a lot of fun making it. Horror-themed mystery boxes are one of my favorite things. I do use profanity, so my videos are of the not-safe-for-work nature. Make sure to visit LOOTFRIGHT at www.lootcrate.com/crates/loot-fright and support horror.

Tell ‘em Daily Grindhouse sent ya!
