WHITE LIGHTNING (1973)

Tough as nails moonshine actioner produced when Burt Reynolds was at the top of his game. Loaded with punch-ups and car chases, WHITE LIGHTNING is as gritty as they come, giving Burt one of his best roles as Gator McKlusky. Adding to the toughness is Charles Bernstein’s rousing score; later heard in a few Quentin Tarantino flicks. Our very own Creeper dug the poster for this flick so much that he mimicked its look for his high school yearbook picture.  He also shows up to DG meetings dressed the same way, lightning bolt in hand (though his is a hundred times smaller).  Dio ci salvi.
