What’s doin’, Bastards? Yuen Woo-ping may not have been able to work with RZA on THE MAN WITH IRON FISTS but the famed action choreographer has signed up for a new trilogy of tough according the The Hollywood Reporter. Woo-ping has signed up to direct a Chinese-Canadian martial arts co-production called VIGILANTES: THE LOST ORDER, which will be his Hollywood debut.
According to THR the film is described as “The Matrix meets Wall Street,” and “revolves around a female assassin whose efforts to avenge her father’s murder leads her to uncover a conspiracy in the world of international high finance.”
I need to know more before my balls start to tingle, but the invlovement of Mr. Woo-ping is enough to make me give them a gentle rub at least. His credits include KILL BILL VOL.2, THE MATRIX TRILOGY, DRUNKEN MASTER, TRUE LEGEND, IRON MONKEY, and more. Our boy is a full on legend. Anxious to learn more about this trilogy.
