Rodolfo Guzmán Huerta, better known as El Santo, would have turned 100-years-old on September 23. Comfort Station in Chicago is presenting EL SANTO VS. LA MUJERES VAMPIRO at 8:00 pm to celebrate. This is a free screening. Info can be found here.
The new 4K restoration of SUSPIRIA is screening at the Denver Film Society at 7:30 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.
John Waters’ super fun mainstream breakthrough HAIRSPRAY is screening from a 35mm print at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, TX at 9:45 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.
With a title like THE KILLER SHREWS, you basically know what you’re in for. It is playing at the Joy Cinema and Pub in Tigard, OR at 9:15 pm. This is a free screening, but you must be over 21 years of age. Info can be found here.
