How’s this for a cool double feature? Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington, NY is screening CRITTERS and NIGHT OF THE CREEPS at 10:00 pm. Both films are being screened from 35mm prints. Tickets and info can be found here.
FilmScene in Iowa City, IA is showing RAIN THE COLOR OF BLUE WITH A LITTLE RED IN IT, a great Nigerian homage to PURPLE RAIN, at 11:00 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.
The New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles finishes up their 20th anniversary celebration of the release of JACKIE BROWN by pairing it up with SHEBA, BABY, Pam Grier’s team up with William Girdler. Both films are screening from 35mm prints. The show begins at 6:30 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.
Walter Hill’s stone classic THE WARRIORS is the midnight movie at Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline, MA. This is a 35mm screening. Tickets and info can be found here.
WALKER, the biopic about American mercenary William Walker from Alex Cox, is screening from a 35mm print at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago at 7:15 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.
Violent and entertaining revenge film LADY SNOWBLOOD is playing at the Amherst Cinema in Amherst, MA at 9:45 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.
Never turn down the chance to see JAWS screen from a 35mm print on the big screen. The Museum of the Moving Image in Queens is giving you that chance at 7:00 pm. Tickets and info can be found here.
